Community happens here

This community center is more than just a meeting space. The owner renovated an old house into a new beautiful space where community members can gather for various events all year long. They also offer co-working and meeting spaces for rental, entrepreneurial learning programs for youths, art programs, school events, and more.

Once the space was complete, they needed marketing, branding, and focused messaging. I helped them create clear and consistent messaging, a new website, social posts, promotional collateral, and onsite signage to help convey their mission at all touchpoints. The responsive site includes easy navigation and an easy-to-update calendar with social sharing features. A donate button appears at the top navigation to provide easy access and drive more onsite donations. We also collaborated to determine the three primary offerings to be featured on the homepage, “Community Cafe,” “Co-Working and Meeting Space,” and “Programs.”

I helped them create new streamlined social media graphics with a cohesive branding look and feel for all events and calendar graphics, so when you are scrolling on your social feed, you know when you see a new event posted.

Results: 60% increase in website traffic, continued growth in reach and event participation year over year.
